Refunds and cancellation
Last updated November 2, 2026
The short version
- Cancel anytime. You keep your plan until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- We don't refund part of a month, but we always refund mistakes, and charges for months we couldn't deliver.
- Unused top-ups can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
Closed beta
Invited testers aren't charged during the closed beta. This page applies once paid plans open.
How to cancel
Email support@vesta-ai.ca from your account's email address and ask us to cancel. We'll confirm within two business days. Once you've asked, you won't be charged again, even if our confirmation arrives after your renewal date.
What happens when you cancel
- Your plan stays active until the end of the current paid month.
- Any allowance you have left when it ends stays on your account, and you can keep using it.
- Top-up balance stays on your account too, and never expires while the account is open.
- Your chats and files stay on your PC either way.
When we refund
- Mistakes: if you were charged twice, charged after you asked to cancel, or charged in error, we refund the charge in full.
- Problems on our side: if Vesta was unavailable for a large part of your billing month because of a problem with our network, we'll refund or credit you fairly. Just tell us.
- Top-ups: a top-up you haven't used can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase.
- Monthly plans: otherwise, we don't refund partial months or allowance you didn't use.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with, through Stripe. Your bank usually shows them within 5 to 10 business days.
Billing problems and disputes
If something looks wrong on a charge, please email support@vesta-ai.ca first. A person will reply within two business days, and most problems are fixed faster that way than through a bank dispute. If you do dispute a charge with your bank, we may pause paid use of the account until the dispute is settled.
